The Diocese of East Anglia has established a new post to support the welfare of its clergy, particularly those who are retired and ensure that the Diocese continues to meet its duty of care to its priests. This post is funded through our Alive in Faith initiative.

The successful applicant will work with the clergy welfare group to provide coordinated and consistent support to all retired clergy within the Diocese and to help prepare other clergy as they approach retirement. The Roman Catholic Diocese of East Anglia serves the people of the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire and the City of Peterborough. We are a growing Diocese, with an increasing Catholic population, which is now over 100,000. We are led by Bishop Alan Hopes who ordained a record number of new priests and deacons in 2019.  We are expanding provision of Catholic education in the Diocese and looking to address the needs of parishioners for suitable places of worship and social outreach, working with all the diverse communities in East Anglia. We welcome anyone who wants to help us in our mission and to work for a truly unique organisation.
