The East Anglia Diocesan Youth Service exists to help young people in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to connect with Jesus Christ and His Catholic Church. We carry out this mission through running pilgrimages and events;  by providing support to parishes and schools and also through the Ignite Team, which visits schools and churches to run retreats, activities and workshops.  If you would like the Ignite Team to visit your school or parish, please email igniteteam@rcdea.org.uk

The Sibyl Collective name is an exciting new initiative from the Diocesan Youth Service which seeks to bring together young contemporary Catholic musicians from around the Diocese. Under the leadesrship of Fr. Peter Wygnanski, the aim is to grow as a community committed to discipleship in Christ through prayer and praise & worship music and then to be able to lead others at events and retreats in the Diocese. It’s called the Sibyl collective in honour of St. Hidegard of Bigen, herself an accomplished musician and composer, and who was also known as the ‘Sibyl of the Rhine’

Applications are invited from Catholics (aged 16 – 30) who play an instrument or sing . This round of applications will close on December 10th 2023, after which successful applicants will be invited to an initial meeting in the New Year. Subsequent meetings will take place every 2-3 months usually on a Saturday afternoon. If you have any questions, please contact peter.wygnanski@rcdea.org.uk Please apply here.
