Hamish features on Radio 4 Sunday morning worship

Hamish MacQueen, Diocesan Director of Youth Services, featured recently on a Radio 4 Programme about a new community for young people at Ditchingam.

Hamish read the Gospel from St Luke, which described the finding of the boy Jesus in the Temple by his parents.

The broadcast focussed on the With community in Ditchingham, Norfolk. The ecumenical community will be living on site all year round and will be committed in prayer and mission to supporting and serving the UK’s young people.

With has been handed the lease to All Hallows, which for 150 years has been a house of prayer, community and service owned by the Sisters of All Hallows.

You can listen to the broadcast here.

Jamie Cutteridge, one of the leaders of the With community, said: “Work is underway for youth groups to come away for rest, fun, and a chance to explore and grow in the Christian faith as well as build resilience. We’ve recently opened up applications for community members and are looking to create a diverse community of Christians passionate about praying for and with young people.”

Anyone interested in joining the With community can find more information here.
