The events are a collaboration between St Mary’s, the charity Together for the Common Good, the Caritas Social Action Network, and the Centre for Social Justice.
The first event will be entitled “The Common Good: What does it mean?” Philip Booth, Sam Bruce and Jenny Sinclair will be in conversation with Professor Ruth Kelly. It will be held on Zoom at 6.30-8pm, Tuesday June 15.

Philip Booth is Director of Catholic Mission at St. Mary’s University, Twickenham. Dr Sam Bruce is a researcher at the Centre for Social Justice. Ruth Kelly is a visiting professor at St Mary’s Twickenham. Jenny Sinclair is Director of Together for the Common Good.
Future events will include the following as speakers: Lord Maurice Glasman, Ruth Gledhill, David Goodhart, Edward Hadas, Richard Harries, Lord Syed Kamall, Danny Kruger MP, Mercy Muroki, Cristina Odone, Trevor Phillips, Caroline Slocock and Julia Unwin.
Topics will include the Common Good and the family; the Common Good and civil society and the Common Good and the role of the state. Booking information will be sent out in due course, but, if you wish to save the dates they are July 13 and September 29. The fourth event will be on November 16 at St Mary’s, Putney.
