Sr Helen Costigane, who lectures at Allen Hall Seminary, London, led a Day of Recollection for parishioners at the Church of Our Lady and St Thomas of Canterbury, Wymondham, on Saturday December 2 (pictured above), just before the First Sunday of Advent reports Fr Denis Gallagher.
A concert for peace and reconciliation, to celebrate 25 years of the foundation of the Little Sisters of Joy is set to take place at Magdalene College Chapel in Cambridge on Tuesday March 19.
Catholic guitarist and singer Gila Margolin will sing a selection of favourite songs from her past audiences, to include Jewish, French and Scottish music and songs of the sixties.
The concert starts at 2.30pm and will be followed by refreshments in the Benson Hall from 4-6pm.
Admission is free but there will be a retiring collection for the work of the foundation.

St Nicholas and his angel helpers paid a special visit to St Joseph’s Church, St Neots, on Sunday December 3. The children were given gifts of sweets, fruit and holy cards. One little girl very sweetly gave her present to Fr Tibor Borovsky, parish priest (see photo below).
