Our Lady of The Assumption and English Martyrs in Cambridge commemorated the Feast of The Assumption on August 15 with a special community gathering. The event was marked by a candlelit procession around the church and into the school playground before returning to the church.
The occasion featured a range of edibles brought by attendees, fostering a sense of community and fellowship among the congregation. Monsignor Harkness highlighted the event by cutting the Feast Day cake.
The feast at OLEM was not just an act of religious observance but also a celebration of community, making it a meaningful day for all who participated.
