Parish stays united through its Facebook group

Fr Paul Chanh from Our Lady Star of the Sea Lowestoft has created a Facebook group to live stream Masses, music and prayers to his parishioners.

The parish is also providing audio recordings, audio bidding prayers and PDFs of liturgy through its website https://www.ourladylowestoft.com

Parishioners can take part in Eucharistic adoration online through the Facebook page. Services are typically one-and-a-half to two hours long, accompanied by psalms, prayers and music.

Members of the Facebook group can post comments during the services. One reads: “That was spiritually uplifting to be able to celebrate Mass with you, Father, and all the other friends and parishioners watching. God bless and keep safe x.”

You can join the Lowestoft parish Facebook group through the link www.facebook.com/groups/ourladylowestoft
